ABOUT

"The great thing about rock 'n' roll, is you realize the top of the mountain is big enough for more than one band"

- Paul Stanley -

NOZFEST is a festival put on by young promoter and blogger JodieBowie.

Jodie has been putting on Rock Nights along the south coast since 2015. She has worked alongside the likes of Marco Mendoza of the Dead Daisies, Beth Blade, Massive Wagons, Those Damn Crows, The Treatment, Mason Hill and Florence Black to name a few and also started her own successful series of Rock Nights around Southampton, featuring the best local bands on the scene.

Jodie is heavily passionate about rock and metal music, and has been since a very young age - live music has always been very close to her heart.

Now she wants to share her passion with her home town, bands, and rock fans alike in a festival dedicated especially to the new wave of classic rock scene.

This is a self-funded budgeted festival, that we are hoping to keep making bigger and better in the years to come.
This festival is also family-friendly - under 16's MUST be accompanied by an adult.

NOZFEST 2019 was a massive success! People travelled as far as Germany to attend this inaugural festival. The line-up consisted of the legends that are Massive Wagons, Those Damn Crows, Big Foot and many more - the event SOLD OUT and is expected to do well in the future. This event generated such a buzz that attendees now refer to themselves as Nozzers! This festival really does have a family reunion type atmosphere too.

Due to the Covid outbreak in 2020, Nozfest had to be postponed until 2021 - but this only added to the high spirits that were experienced on the day. It was another SOLD OUT festival with an astonishing line-up consisting of The Treatment, Mason Hill, SKAM, Hollowstar and Collateral to name a few. The crowd and bands alike were ecstatic to be back in a place they all refer to as 'home'. Nozfest is really going from strength to strength with an ever growing audience, and is anticipated to only keep getting better!

Nozfest 2022 was another SOLD OUT show! What a huge achievement. The venue was packed from the second the doors opened with people queuing down the streets, every band had a massive audience and the vibe was unbeatable. Nozfest 2022 featured bands such as Scarlet Rebels, Florence Black, The Hot Damn! and was even Western Sands' final show.
the next Nozfest 2023 was already HIGHLY anticipated with early bird tickets selling out in 2 hours of release.

Continuing with the success Nozfest 2023 added to the SOLD OUT run, it featured the festivals first ever female headliner in the form of Chez Kane and featured other bands including South of Salem, These Wicked Rivers, Black Lakes and Vambo.
Attendees enjoyed the night for the 4th time running and the festival made many new Nozzers who now vouch to return!
2024 will see the 5th ANNIVERSARY of Nozfest, so expect to see a line-up to get heads spinning!!

Nozfest takes place at the 1865, Southampton, SO14 3AR. The venue is situated in Southampton Centre with close by pubs, hotels and food facilities and just a 20min walk from Southampton Central Train Station.
